Title: Just scored a nice haul of Apollo 11 related newspapers
Post by: beedarko on November 18, 2022, 12:01:09 AM
Most still sealed in cello bags, including the Seattle PI, San Francisco Chronicle, Christian Science Monitor, SF Examiner, etc., dated from July 15 to July 28, 1969.  Time permitting, I'd be happy to scan these and post the articles here for anyone who might be interested.

Nice!

I'd be very interested in any pages showing Earth in TV broadcasts, or any showing satellite images.

On a related note, I do keep adding to the ephemera part of my site:

Sure thing!  I will scan & post anything I find.  As an aside, I was at the source today (an old bookstore that opened in 1969) and they have a huge back room literally filled from floor to ceiling with shelves of old LIfe & National Geographic magazines as well.  Most haven't been touched in decades, so the discovery continues!
