Title: Dark Side of the Moon (book)
Post by: Ranb on October 26, 2019, 05:45:20 PM
So I thought I would read a book that was critical of the Apollo program.

Dark Side of the Moon: The Magnificent Madness of the American Lunar Quest by Gerard Degroot

Mission accomplished as Degroot is not a fan of manned space travel.  :)  While he makes some good points, I gave up on the book after I read his complete acceptance of the "space pen vs pencil" myth.  Anyone else read this book?

"There is no dark side of the moon, really. Matter of fact, it's all dark."

Yes, but from a distance, it looks half bright. Like some people I know.

Well every part of the moon should be lit up by some light source.  Possibly not a very bright one though.
