Nice Touristic Sites

With the dollar equaling 12,500 Lebanese Liras (L.L.) nowadays after it was equal to 1,500 L.L., you can buy half the country with its goods I guess ;) 
And to encourage, (again, and after a long time), tourism when it is most needed, I am posting two sites, better seen on facebook :

There are photos of very nice places that I myself did not know existed before. Baalbeck's Temple and the Cedars aged thousands of years are the most famous, but there are also many, many others worth exploring.

The security situation is good also. No demonstrations since a long time, no Israeli wars, no assassinations.

If you come or not, I hope you enjoy looking at the nice views.

The only time in my life that I have been a multi-millionaire was when I visited Italy in 1989.... in the "cambiavalute" at a bank in Mendrisio, Switzerland, I exchanged £1000 for L6,500,000 !!

I still have an old Turkish 1000000 lira note. It was worth about 50p at the time :)

In terms of the OP, I listened to a radio programme sellng Lebanon as a long weekend destination and it did sound fascinating.

It's not hard to do, on a clear day, I can see from my window into a country where being a multi-millionaire would be about enough to get a hotel room (at a decent but not luxurious hotel) for a night.
