....
Cheers Bob. I'm doing a night shift and am bored out of my mind, and have decided on a whim to make a gallery of all the Apollo astronauts eating or preparing food, and so far I have three :P

Pictured are: (L-R, front) John Glenn; Scott Carpenter; and Donald Slayton; (behind Schirra) Gus Grissom; Neil Armstrong; Tom Stafford; and Alan Shepard. Jim Lovell is standing in foreground.

The guy you identify as Armstrong I think is Frank Borman. The person to the right of Slayton (Slayton's left) I think is Elliott See, and the guy behind Slayton looks like it might be Jim McDivitt. Also, the man in the forground is definitely not Jim Lovell, though that may be Lovell's head poking out from behind his shoulder.

Sorry, Bob. I was lazy and just posted the info from the web site that had the photographs.

"Neil, hurry up with that pizza! Table Four is still waiting for their hot wings!"

Is there a story behind that? Apollo 12 was the funnest mission to the moon!

Why the heck is there a thread dedicated to pictures of astronauts eating food? XD!!!

It is very therapeutic. Photos of astronauts eating have been a hidden and unacknowledged fetish of mine for years. These images have finally allowed me to come out with my secret to a group that will understand and not judge. It is very liberating. I am sure that those who have posted photos here will agree.

A friend of Conrad's gave him the gorilla, and the Apollo 12 crew adopted it as their mascot and named it Irving. :)
