First Man biopic is in production
« on: November 08, 2017, 07:00:16 PM »
Damien Chazelle (La La Land, Whiplash) is directing.  But more exciting to me, my friend Patrick Fugit has been cast as Elliot See.  I've known him since he was a mop-headed teenager taking acting classes locally (and later as a mop-headed young adult).  It's going to be surreal to see him with an astronaut's haircut.

Ryan Gosling cast as Neil Armstrong? Really?
If you're not a scientist but you think you've destroyed the foundation of a vast scientific edifice with 10 minutes of Googling, you might want to consider the possibility that you're wrong.

Well, hopefully they will do a much better job than episode 6 of From the Earth to the Moon.

Yeah, that part puzzles me too.

And better than "Interstellar" more in tuned with the real science behind the mission.
Truth needs no defense.  Nobody can take those footsteps I made on the surface of the moon away from me.
