in Hoaxland, imaging technology is so great that there are no such things as compression artifacts or limits of resolution, and therefore everything recorded in an image is exactly as it was in reality, and any image may be zoomed in to any level and still faithfully show what was present in the scene.

Either that, or Hoaxland itself is actually pixellated and blurry...

In Hoaxland, people who are "just asking questions" are just asking questions.

In Hoaxland, childish and disparaging comments about science and its practitioners are received with agreeing nods.

In Haoxland, both the USA and the USSR can be either reviled or beloved, depending on various random and unseen forces.

In hoaxland, the only credible evidence to be found is in YouTube videos.

Or any random website.

In Hoaxland, long playing videos are suspected of being propaganda while arbitrary snippets of those very same videos show the truth.

In Hoaxland, the recollections of all witnesses to any event agree completely in every detail.

In hoaxland second and third hand sources trump primary documentation, and hearsay and decades old recollections supersede contemporaneous statements by participants and eyewitnesses.

In hoaxland second and third hand sources trump primary documentation, and hearsay and decades old recollections supersede contemporaneous statements by participants and eyewitnesses.

In Hoaxland they don't even know what "primary source", "hearsay" and "contemporaneous" mean, and have never heard of logical fallacies.

In Hoaxland nobody ever spends more than 15 minutes reading at Clavius.

...because...

In Hoaxland JayUtah hacks all the 'puters.

In Hoaxland it is well-known that JayUtah, Phil Plait and LunarOrbit are paid handsomely by NASA.

However...

In Hoaxland some people think JayUtah, Phil Plait and LunarOrbit are actually the same person who deceitfully receives three handsome incomes from NASA, but other Hoaxlanders are quite confident that they are indeed three different people, and some of them think that Phil Plait is far more handsome than either JayUtah or LunarOrbit.

In Hoaxland, astronauts and capcoms are never allowed to crack jokes.

In Hoaxland they simultaneously faked the Moon landing because we couldn't get there at all and faked it because they couldn't show us the aliens they found there.
