Thanks to Australians for this best coverage using still photos that I've found. Page down for lots of large photos and captions, plus a 17-second video.

Haven't yet found the full video that was on our New Zealand TV news tonight, but it's very inspiring.  Regrettably they didn't show enough of both competitors continuing and finishing the race.

Full video coverage might be up to five minutes long. Hope it turns up some day. Please post the link if you find it.
